These terms apply to all purchases and enquiries made through theukchief.co.uk, operated by Jed Phillips, trading as The UK Chief.
About us
The UK Chief is the official UK distributor of Globus Corporation equipment, supplying physiotherapy, sports, veterinary and aesthetic clinics, as well as home users, across the UK.
1. Products and pricing
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to amend prices and product information at any time.
Prices shown are in GBP. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on orders.
Products marked “POA” (Price on Application) require a direct enquiry for pricing — please contact us for a personalised quote.
2. Orders and payment
Orders can be placed via our website (Stripe and, where eligible, Klarna), or by direct enquiry and bank transfer for larger equipment purchases.
For high-value equipment, payment plans may be available by separate agreement — please contact us to discuss.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, for example in cases of pricing errors or stock unavailability.
3. Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.
Delivery times will be confirmed at the point of order and may vary depending on product availability and supplier lead times from Globus Corporation, Italy.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
4. Warranty
All Globus equipment supplied by The UK Chief is covered by manufacturer warranty as set out in the relevant product documentation, typically ranging from 9 to 27 months from invoice date depending on product category.
This is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected by our warranty terms.
Warranty claims should be directed to jed@theukchief.co.uk in the first instance.
5. Returns and cancellations
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, except where goods have been made to your specification or are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons.
Business customers (B2B purchases) are subject to the specific terms agreed at the point of order.

Goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging where possible. Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless the goods are faulty.
6. Medical devices
Many of our products are registered medical devices. They are intended for use by qualified professionals where stated, and the buyer is responsible for ensuring proper use in accordance with the product’s intended purpose and any applicable regulations.
We are not liable for misuse of equipment outside its intended purpose.
7. Liability
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (such as death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and product descriptions, is owned by The UK Chief or Globus Corporation and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
